(16 Photos) Crane Crashes In Mecca Many Believed To Be Dead

A crane crashed on the Grand Mosque in Mecca on Friday, killing at least 87 people taking part in their annual pilgrimage, the largest pilgrimage in the world. 154 are believed to be injured - these are only preliminary reports.

Kingdom’s General Directorate of Civil Defense, blamed the incident on the winds - According to their official twitter.

Khalid Al Faisal as launched investigations on how the crash occurred.

Civil Defense have dispersed rescue teams, in which are attempting to save the lives in which they can.
